We are officially into spring and it has decided to welcome us with snow (great). That’s the funny thing about spring: one day it can be sunny and warm, and the next it can be snowing. Dressing for this season can present its share of challenges. You wake up, it’s 32 degrees outside, and by the time you leave work it’s 60 degrees.
My favorite transition piece for the ever-changing springtime weather is a trench coat. It is the perfect clothing item to take you from day to night. I paired this secondhand leather trench with a pair of secondhand white maternity jeans in order to create a crisp spring look – adding in red accessories for a pop of color. And while we’re on the topic of white pants, do not let anyone tell you that you cannot wear white before Memorial Day or after Labor Day. This is no longer a fashion faux pas!
